Twin Cities Veg Fest Accessibility Policy
Overview and Commitment
Twin Cities Veg Fest and Compassionate Action for Animals (CAA) are committed to providing an accessible event experience and accessible online information for our community. We welcome people of all abilities and will make reasonable accommodations for attendees, vendors, sponsors, presenters, and volunteers to enable full participation.

Our goal is to work toward substantial conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA over time.

Current status: Our Sites are built on Wix and primarily use Wix’s out‑of‑the‑box features. We have not yet completed a full accessibility audit or custom remediations beyond platform defaults.

Some images may lack alternative text or have non‑descriptive alt text.

Color contrast and font scaling may be inconsistent on certain pages or components.

Keyboard navigation and focus states may vary on embedded elements (e.g., third‑party forms, maps).

To help us plan effectively, please tell us what you need by September 10. We’ll do our best to fulfill requests received after this date, subject to provider and venue constraints.

Animals

Trained service animals are welcome as defined by applicable law.

Well‑behaved companion animals are welcome where permitted by the venue and local regulations. Animals must remain under control (leash or carrier), may not disrupt others, and may be restricted from certain indoor or food preparation areas as required by law or safety guidelines.

Alternative Formats

Upon request, we can provide essential information (schedules, site maps, key policies) in alternative formats such as large print or accessible digital files, subject to reasonable preparation time.

Our Sites and Event may include third‑party content or services (e.g., embedded videos, ticketing, maps, social media). We do not control the accessibility of third‑party platforms but will share accessibility options where available and consider alternatives when feasible.
