Wheelchair & Mobility Device Access
Stairs are not required to enter the festival grounds or to navigate the sidewalks or pavilions.
At the main entryway under the Harriet Island Arch, ADA-compliant ramps lead down to the festival grounds.
A couple standard outlets are available at the Harriet Island Pavilion to charge mobility devices.
There will be a wheelchair-accessible Port-a-Potty.
Most vendors are accessible by sidewalk, but some are located in a grassy field. The tents where speakers, cooking demos, and music take place also are on grass. You may want to use off-road wheels to access vendors and events located in the grass.
Limited Mobility Access
Chairs marked “ADA Seating” will be located around the festival. We ask that anybody with a health condition needing frequent rest use these seats.
There are ADA parking spaces reserved at the parking lot at Harriet Island Park. A placard is required to use them. (We cannot guarantee parking spaces will be available.)
Celiac Options
When vendors register, they note if they offer gluten-free-ingredient foods and/or a celiac-safe food environment.
Check back closer to the 2025 festival for the list of vendors who offer celiac-safe foods.
Service Dog Access
The Twin Cities Veg Fest information table has bowls of water for service dogs.
The festival takes place in a large park, and there are typically quiet, grassy spaces available for dogs to rest.
TC Veg Fest welcomes all well-behaved, leashed dogs. Non-service dogs may also be present.

Twin Cities Veg Fest is happy to ask speakers or cooking demo presenters to provide written copies of their presentation. Please reach out to us at info@tcvegfest.com or 612-276-2242 prior to the festival.
Need help finding a specific booth? Please enter through the Harriet Island Park main arch entrance — it’s directly off Water St, and marked as “Harriet Island Trailhead” on Google Maps. There is a welcome booth to the right-hand side of the entry right before the arch. A volunteer at the booth will be happy to walk you to your destination.
