Vegan FUNdue Party with Dustin Harder (11:30am — 12:15pm)
Dustin Harder is the host and creator of the original vegan travel culinary series The Vegan Roadie. When not traveling, he works as a personal chef, recipe developer, and culinary instructor in New York City. As a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute, Dustin has been featured in such publications as Eating Well, VegNews, Vegan Lifestyle Magazine, and Paste Magazine. His second book, Epic Vegan, was released July 9, 2019 and the Twin Cities are one of the stops on Dustin’s Epic Vegan Book Tour! Epic Vegan is the follow-up to Dustin’s first book, The Simply Vegan Cookbook.

Dustin will chat about his travels filming and hosting the original vegan travel series, The Vegan Roadie. He will also discuss going vegan on your own terms, the inspiration behind his two books Simply Vegan and Epic Vegan and take questions from the audience!
Decadent Gluten Free Baking with Hark Cafe (1:00pm — 1:45pm)
Hark! is a gluten free, vegan business started by best friends Lisa Neumann and Katherine Pardue. Safe for celiacs, Hark! offers the decadent food people want but can’t always have.
This year’s demo: Frustrated with cookies that taste like sand? Feel as though you’ll never again enjoy the delicious texture and taste of the glutinous desserts you remember? The team from Hark! is offering tips and tricks about gluten free, vegan baking we have learned while developing recipes for our cafe and business. We will walk you through our simple recipe for buttery shortbread fruit bars, and along the way take any and all questions you have about gluten free baking and cooking.
Healthin’ it up!™ with Coco & Lala. (2:30pm — 3:15pm)
Coco & Lala are the hilarious duo who taste test products on their Facebook show, Keeping up with Coco & Lala. They focus on vegan, vegetarian, and plant based foods. Catch them, on Facebook Thursdays at 1:30pm CST. They are also radio personalities of the HOTTEST show in the country, Healthin’ it up!™ with Coco & Lala. Their show is on Wednesdays at 4pm cst on 89.9 KMOJ The Ice.

We have come up with the perfect side dishes to your next summer outing, picnic or BBQ! Join us for two amazing non traditional yet delicious vegan summer salads that the whole family will love! Who doesn’t love potato salad but have you ever thought of using sweet potatoes? You are not going to want to miss this savory sweet potato, potato salad recipe shared with us by our dear friend from the What the Health Documentary, Dr Milton Mills! Our second summer salad recipe uses the underrated chickpea. Yes, we know they are awesome in hummus but we will show you how to transform them into a mouth-watering chickpea tuna salad!
